Should you wait to Sell your Home due to Corona Virus?

This is a question that I have been asked a few times the last few weeks. Here's the answer: Maybe.

So the Corona Virus has a lot of people up in arms or maybe a little scared. If you need to sell, sell. That is the bottom line. If you don't need to sell it might still be a great time to sell. Why? Well if a good portion of the market decides to take their homes off the market, that means less inventory, meaning more buyers are looking at YOUR home as a potential future home for themselves. 

Once the epidemic blows over, everyone will throw their home back on the market and there is a good chance that there will be some home owners that will want to sell out of fear, fear of not know how this will effect their homes value. That would then mean, more competition. 

At the end of the day, selling your home means competition, the less of it you have, the better. 

Now, if you have a compromised immune system and are worried about the spread - perhaps it is best that you hunker down and wait until everything blows over - if you can afford to do so.
